Non-Spring Return Damper Actuator

Designed for on/off and floating point control of dampers in HVAC systems, this BELIMO non-spring return damper actuator can be mounted directly to a damper shaft up to 1.05” dia. by means of its universal clamp, 1/2” self centered default. Model does not require any limit switches, but is electronically protected against overload. The included anti-rotation strap helps prevent lateral movement. Actuator provides 95° rotation and a visual indicator to show the position of the actuator. When model reaches the damper or actuator end position the actuator automatically stops. Manual release on the actuator cover allows you to manually disengage the gears. Actuator uses a sensorless brushless DC motor that’s controlled by an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC). This ASIC features helps to monitor and control the actuator’s rotation and can provide a digital rotation sensing (DRS) function to prevent damage to the actuator in a stall condition.
