Panasonic AV-HS04M5 DVI/Component Analog Output Board

The Panasonic AV-HS04M5 is a DVI and analog component output board built for the AV-HS400 and AV-HS450 live production switchers. Once installed in an open option slot, it adds one DVI connector and one three-wire component connector, each capable of carrying signals up to 1920 x 1080 resolution.

These extra outputs give technical directors the freedom to send dedicated feeds to confidence monitors, venue projectors, external recorders, or streaming encoders without disturbing the main program path. The DVI port works well with digital displays such as LCD panels or computer monitors, while the component port supports equipment that still relies on Y Pb Pr cabling.

Setup is straightforward. After the board is seated and secured, the mixer automatically recognizes the new outputs, and format adjustments can be made from the front panel or control software. By eliminating the need for external converters, the board helps maintain signal quality and keeps latency low.
