The thread gauge ring must screw onto the entire length of the workpiece's thread by hand, without excessive force. If this isn't possible, the thread doesn't meet the required standards (rejected). The reference temperature for parts and gauges is 20°C. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate (price on inquiry). Calibration is performed in an independent lab, following specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI), using IAC thread scanners.
