The STM6600-01 devices oversee connected push-button states and adequate supply voltage. An enable output manages power for the application via a MOSFET transistor, DC-DC converter, regulator, etc. If the supply voltage surpasses a precise threshold, the enable output can be activated by simply pressing the button. Factory-selectable voltage thresholds are set by highly accurate, temperature-compensated references. An interrupt is triggered by pressing the push-button during normal operation, allowing for a system power-down request. The interrupt also activates if undervoltage is detected. A long push of one or two buttons either asserts a reset or disables power for the application, depending on the chosen option.
